Data We Collect SpendSmart collects the following data to provide its budgeting features:

• Account information: Email address and password (used for sign-in via Supabase Auth)
• Financial data: Transaction amounts, categories, and dates you manually enter; budget limits and goals you create
• Household data: Display name, avatar emoji, and household name you choose

Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your real name, phone number, or location
• We do not use advertising or analytics SDKs
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties
• We do not track you across other apps or websites

Notifications SpendSmart may send local push notifications (daily reminders, budget warnings) if you grant permission. These are generated on-device and no notification content is sent to our servers.

Data Storage Your data is stored securely using Supabase. Data is synced across your household members' devices only.
